Karim Chebbi & Alin Halmagean: Key Forces in the Development of Combat Sports in Canada.
Mr. Karim Chebbi, President of the Canadian Federation of Kickboxing, Muay Thai, and Associated Disciplines, and Mr. Alin Halmagean, renowned coach and leader of Muay Thai Canada Federation, are playing a crucial role in the growth of combat sports in Canada. By joining forces with the WKN, with which Mr. Chebbi has established agreements as a promoter, they are significantly boosting the development of kickboxing & Muay Thai in the country.
At each of his events, he organizes WKN international championships with professionalism and expertise, helping to expand the presence of our federation in Canada.
Mr. Alin Halmagean is not only a respected coach but also a manager of high-level fighters competing in major leagues like the UFC. His expertise in training and developing world-class athletes is a tremendous asset to the WKN’s expansion in Canada.
Additionally, Mr Chebbi is recognized as one of the most influential promoters, if not the leading figure, in Tunisia. His dedication to combat sports and his extensive experience in organizing top-tier events further contribute to the global development of the WKN.
The upcoming February 8 event in Montreal, featuring two WKN international titles, marks another milestone in the recognition of our sports in Canada. Several WKN-sanctioned events are also planned for 2025, ensuring that new talents from the country will have the opportunity to shine on the international stage.
