Invictus Arena 26: Two WKN title fights this Saturday in Rome

The World Kickboxing Network returns to Italy on Saturday June 22 with a pair of title bouts contested in the headliner of Invictus Arena 26 in Rome. The event presented by Riccardo Lecca features a mixed-fight bill with kickboxing, boxing and Muay Thai bouts.

In the main event Luca Carnevali of Italy takes on Erik Matejovsky of Slovakia. The pair battles it out for WKN International Super Middleweight title.

In the co-main event another representative of the country-host Francesco Picca faces Islam Ibragimov of Russia. The contest is for WKN International Super Lightweight belt.

 

“WKN has been active in Italy for over two decades. With promoter Riccardo Lecca we are working since 2017, presenting a number of WKN championship events, including International Grand Prix. We have also promoted dozens Italian kickboxers to compete acorss the World. We look forward to a spectacular event in Rome this weekend, and more international promotions in Italy to come,” said President of World Kickboxing Network Stephane Cabrera.

Invictus Arena 26 in Rome, Italy is presented back to back with the Prokick: Back at the Clayton event held the day after (June 23) in Belfast, Northern Ireland. Representing Europe, local Johnny “Swift” Smith goes up against South Korean Lee Ji Hoon, representing Asia, in the scheduled for five-rounds WKN InterContinental Welterweight championship bout.
