The WKN and its global office took only 24 hours to appoint and restore WKN coordination in Chile. After careful consideration, we have decided that Ignacio Duarte will be the key figure to develop the country and its champions alongside us.
Ignacio is a seasoned and highly respected fighter across South America. Coming from the renowned Team Ryske , he is the current South American champion in WKN. With our expertise and his strong network in Chile—where he organizes exceptional events every two months—WKN is set to continue its expansion in South America.
All those interested in organizing professional, amateur, or national open championships will be directly referred to our new coordinator , Ignacio Duarte. The entire WKN family wishes him the best of luck, and we will all be there to support this new chapter for WKN in Chile in 2025!
Additionally, the planned visit of the WKN World President to South America, which was set to include a stop in Chile, is now taking shape, with ongoing renegotiations underway.
