Historic First WKN World Championship in Thailand: Nopparat (Thailand🇹🇭) vs. Mahmoud Ismail (Egypt🇪🇬) at Bangkok’s Prestigious Lumpinee Stadium!
The WKN is thrilled to announce its first-ever WKN world championship in Thailand, marking a monumental moment in the organization’s history. This landmark event, scheduled for December 11 at the renowned Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, highlights the WKN’s commitment to showcasing top-level kickboxing talent in Thailand.
This event was made possible through a dedicated partnership between the WKN global office and rising Thai promoter BIG JOE Promotion, and it will be honored by the presence of the WKN President, who is making a special trip to support this historic occasion. Additionally, it’s a true honor for the WKN to regulate this fight alongside the Thailand National Commission, underscoring its significance.
The main event will feature Mahmoud Ismail, the WKN Intercontinental Champion from Egypt and a rising star in the featherweight division, facing Thailand’s own champion, Nopparat—a proven and formidable opponent.
This 5×3-minute world title fight under Oriental kickboxing rules promises an intense and unforgettable showdown.
Thailand holds a proud legacy in the WKN, with legendary fighters such as Sudsakorn, Sakmongkol, Yuttagangmurtorn, Johmod, Phetmahaaphrom and others, all of whom have earned WKN world champion titles and left a lasting impact on kickboxing history.
This upcoming championship honors that legacy, giving Thailand’s elite fighters a chance to shine once again on the global stage.
