Gerardo Atti earns WKN World Muay Thai title at ‘Day of Destruction 15’ in Germany

Togo-born representative of Germany, Gerardo Atti added a prestigious WKN belt to his collection when he faced and defeated Finland’s Jussi Santalahti on Saturday, April 24. The pair squared off in the main event of “Day of Destruction 15” live from Rathenow.

The scheduled for five rounds world championship bout went a full distance. The pair went head to head in a tough matchup producing fireworks. In the end, the local fighter, Atti was awarded a unanimous decision to become a new WKN World super cruiserweight champion in Muay Thai.

The event was promoted by Ralf Stege.

The rest of fight card saw a four-man newcomer tournament and a series of kickboxing and Muay Thai bouts with the athletes coming from across Germany.
