WKN Argentinian title was contested in the headliner of Bosch Tour 2019 held last night (July 6) at Club Morón, in Morón, province of Buenos Aires. Presented in collaboration with “Estrellas de Acero” the event featured a pair of lightweights, Gaston Monroe and Dylan Salazar squaring off in a three-round encounter.
The championship bout didn’t go the distance. Monroe took the win by TKO in the second round. As a result he became a new WKN Argentinian Lightweight titleholder aspiring to join the ranks of South American World Champions Cristian “La Serpiente’ Bosch and Federico “The Little Big Man” Roma.
The event also saw other leading Argentinian kickboxers including Ignacio Capllonch, Nicolas Vega, among others.
Famed Jorge “Acero” Cali attended the show.
Bosch Tour 2019: Estrellas de Acero in Moron, Buenos Aires was one of four championship events that World Kickboxing Network held this weekend in Italy, Portugal, Bulgaria and Argentina.
Among the bouts, Brandon Vieira of France became a two-style WKN World Super Featherweight champion when he earned the decision against Nicola Canu at The Night of Super Fight 7 in Iglesias, Sardinia.

Paulo Gerson of Portugal took WKN International Super Welterweight title after he scored the decision against Matteo Costa of Italy at Showfight 37 in Lisbon.
In addition, Rangel Ivanov of Bulgaria claimed WKN International Welterweight title by knockout in the third round against Stefan Sipos of Slovakia at Savages Kickboxing in Shumen.
