Francesco Picca takes all WKN Italian Grand Prix at Invictus Arena 29

Francesco Picca came out on top taking all WKN Italian lightweight Grand Prix at Invictus Arena 29 this past Saturday, December 18 in Rome. Protegee of Riccardo Lecca earned Gold contested in a format of four-man tournament, securing two victories during one evening.

In the semi-final Picca scored a unanimous decision against Badr Gazhy. In the championship bout he stopped Davide Pellini in Round 2. On the way to the final the latter defeated Roberto Marinotti by UD.

Earlier in his career Francesco Picca collected WKN Italian and International titles, as well as won the four-man International Grand Prix. He also challenged for European belt against David Ruiz Marrero in a bout that ended in no contest.
