Florencia Greco: A Fighter’s Journey Towards Glory !
Florencia Greco 🇦🇷, a great fighter with a promising future, unfortunately did not achieve victory in her bout this past weekend in Thailand, despite the extremely high level of competition.
It is important to highlight that Florencia courageously accepted this challenge, even though her opponent was from a higher weight class and she had only arrived in Thailand three days prior to the fight.
After discussions with her manager, the WKN — the world federation recognized for having the strictest parameters to access its World Titles, taking inspiration from professional boxing standards —, with its usual seriousness, honesty, and professionalism, has decided to organize an WKN Intercontinental Championship fight for her before granting access to the prestigious World Title.
Indeed, following a defeat, it is difficult, for a federation that prides itself on being the most credible and demanding in the world, to allow immediate access to a World Title opportunity.
Florencia will soon compete for the WKN Intercontinental Title, in an event planned to take place in Asia.
If successful, she will then fight for the WKN World Title later this year in her home country, Argentina, during a major event scheduled for November, with the presence of the WKN World President.
Despite the outcome, the WKN remains extremely proud of Florencia’s performance and of the image she continues to represent: a true WKN champion, always ready to rise to any challenge, with courage and dignity.
It is also important to note that Florencia sustained an injury during this fight but will soon be ready to resume training and competition.
