DTF – Mekki vs. Krafi: A Fight to Remember !
A fight like Mekki vs. Krafi is exactly the kind we love to see and wish to have more often—fighters with seriousness, merit, simplicity, and fairness. No arrogance, no insults, just the sport and its values.
It is with great honor that the WKN, thanks to its work in France and the trust of promoters like Mr. Morgan Prévost, who has worked with us for two events now, is able to offer genuine and real world kickboxing championships.
Our sport is undeniably spectacular. Just look at the major organizations like the UFC, where most highlights and slow-motion replays showcase striking actions—that is, kickboxing techniques. While our sport still has work to do to remain credible and win back the attention of television networks and major sponsors, events like these and fighters like these are paving the way.
The WKN works tirelessly every day to make this possible, giving fighters, coaches, and officials the legitimacy they deserve. This commitment is why it took us a long time to finalize agreements with Boxrec, but we are incredibly proud of the result.
This DTF event will, of course, be officially recorded on Boxrec, the largest site in the world for professional boxing. Now, it also registers the results of our kickboxing matches, as well as the work of our officials—referees, judges, supervisors, promoters, and doctors.
We must not forget all the work done with the fighters to achieve such outstanding performances. Therefore, we should always recognize and applaud the efforts of the trainers and coaches.
The Team Nasser Kacem from Saint-Fons and the Team Steve Valente from Strasbourg have long been renowned for their quality and the caliber of the fighters they produce. These teams consistently deliver athletes who are at their physical and mental peak, giving their all in the ring.
This is the future of kickboxing, and we are honored to be part of it.
