Belgium π§πͺ : A Pillar of Excellence for Kickboxing and Muay Thai Under the BKBMO & WKN Banner ! Belgium is not only a country of great fighters but also a nation officially and seriously structured in everything related to kickboxing and Muay Thai. The WKN is extremely proud to have worked in Belgium for over three decades and to have built strong, friendly, and highly professional agreements with the BKBMO, the only recognized federation on Belgian territory. Today, we can confidently state that 80% of international-level championships organized in Belgium are conducted in partnership with the WKN & all the greatest Belgium fighter are or have been WKN Champions. We are also deeply appreciative of the fact that the BKBMO has, for a long time, supported the organization of WKN PRO/AM titles ( PRO/AM division was exclusively created by WKN many years ago). This decision has allowed, and continues to allow, the development of tomorrowβs talents, providing high-quality championships featuring fighters who are starting to demonstrate their international stature. Our coordinator in the country, the renowned Osman Yigin, supported by his lifelong friend Rafael Girardiβboth former WKN world championsβhave, over the years, infused their shared passion for kickboxing into the events organized in Belgium. This dedication is evident in every competition held in the country. It is easy to confirm that Belgium is currently one of the best-structured countries in Europe when it comes to the practice of kickboxing and Muay Thai. This year, several WKN events are already planned in Belgium, and many Belgian fighters will be highlighted on the international stage. This is worth noting, as our sports too often suffer from a lack of serious and professional organization. In many countries, there is neither proper accreditation, nor government recognition, leaving the scene in chaos. Belgium, however, sets a shining example of structure and excellence.
