Azzopardi vs Hosseini – WKN Featherweight title clash

Keith Azzopardi made history by becoming the first Maltese kickboxer to hold World titles in two styles of kickboxing simultaneously. “Speed” earned WKN World Featherweight titles in Full Contact and Oriental rules within two weeks.

On June 15 Azzopardi earned WKN World Featherweight title in Full Contact when he defeated former champion Jonathan Pastorino of France, scoring a 12-round unanimous decision at Ardissone Nice Full Contact 2019 in Nice, France.

This past Saturday (June 29) he scored a 5-round unanimous decision against Afghani-German Qurban Hosseini to claim WKN World Featherweight title under oriental rules. The contest headlined Gladiators Fight Night 23 held in Paola, Malta.
