A new Spanish National Championship title will soon be contested under the WKN banner, marking another important step in the organization’s commitment to strengthening national titles across Europe. Alongside Italy, Spain is becoming one of the European countries that highlights the prestige and value of its national championship through the WKN format.
This initiative is the result of careful and professional work carried out by the WKN since 2025, with the clear objective of bringing Spain back to the forefront of the international combat sports scene. The project also aims to demonstrate that national championships often hold far greater sporting value and legitimacy than some international titles organized by less serious federations.
The next major event will take place on June 6, 2026, at the Polideportivo José Caballero, promoted by Unión Promotions under the leadership of promoter Antonio Orden.
