Kunlun Fight 61 was held on May 14 in Sanya, China.
Laetitia Madjene (26, 8 KOs – 3 – 1) is fighting out of the Dynamite Center. Representing the WKN Top Team under the patronage of Michel Garcia she entered Kunlun Fight women’s tournament last October, winning a short notice bout against Candice Mitchell of Canada.
On Sunday, “Miss Dynamite” went up against Dutch champion Anissa Haddaoui. The contest was the semi-final of the tournament. Madjene earned the decision, consequently qualifying for the championship bout.
In the second semi-final Wang Kehan of China defeated Anke Van Gestel of Belgium by extra round decision.
Later this year Madjene meets Kehan in the final of Kunlun Fight women’s 61.5 kg kickboxing tournament.
