WKN and KKF Join Forces to Take Kun Khmer Global

The World Kickboxing Network (WKN) is proud to announce an official collaboration with the Kun Khmer Federation (KKF) to promote and develop the traditional Cambodian martial art of Kun Khmer worldwide.

Led by WKN President Stephane Cabrera and KKF President General Khov Chhay, this partnership aims to expand the sport internationally while preserving its cultural roots and technical authenticity.

*Global Expansion of Kun Khmer:

WKN is planning to organize Kun Khmer-style competitions around the world, bringing the unique Cambodian martial art to new audiences. Very soon, WKN plans to host two major international championships, including one in Italy and another in Argentina, highlighting national titles and introducing the sport to a broader international stage.

*Key Highlights of the Collaboration:

• Official Recognition: All WKN Kun Khmer events will carry formal KKF acknowledgment, e.g., “under Cambodian Federation recognition (KKF)”.

• Institutional Status: KKF recognized as “Official Technical Partner for Kun Khmer” or “Recognized Kun Khmer Authority”.

• Full Visibility: KKF logo featured across media, digital platforms, announcements, and press releases.

• Respect for Origins: WKN World Championships will include at least one Cambodian fighter to honor the sport’s roots.

This partnership is cooperative and non-exclusive, focused on growing Kun Khmer globally while giving KKF full recognition. Both organizations share a vision of professional organization, international promotion, and safeguarding the heritage of the sport.
