The title has been previously owned by French star Jerome Le Banner. “Geronimo” earned the belt in 1998 at Don King promotion HOLYFIELD vs BEAN in Atlanta, GA. After retirement in 2015 Le Banner vacated the belt giving an opportunity to the new generation of elite athletes to battle out for the honorable belt.
