🇨🇱 December 20 WKN Event in Chile Paves the Way for Ignacio “El Duro” Duarte’s Potential Intercontinental Title Shot in Early 2026
Chile is on the verge of becoming one of South America’s leading kickboxing nations, thanks to its growing involvement with the WKN. To close out the 2025 season, a major event will take place on December 20th, featuring national WKN titles that showcase the excellent work accomplished throughout the year.
The WKN World Office is also in discussions to organize an Intercontinental Championship, likely scheduled for early 2026. One of the leading candidates for this prestigious bout is Ignacio “El Duro” Duarte already a WKN South American champion, a tremendously tough and experienced fighter. The World Office, through its president who oversees all major titles, has given the green light for the possibility of hosting this Intercontinental Championship in Chile.
More information will be revealed soon, but it is clear that the country is developing rapidly and advancing confidently toward becoming a major force in the world of kickboxing.
