On April 26, 2025, in AlĆØs, Mickael Pignolo made history at Boxing Supremacy 4, becoming the new WKN World Champion after a hard and tactical battle against a formidable opponent, Niko Pjetri.
After a fierce contest, Pjetri was forced to retire at the end of the 4th round due to a jaw injury.
This world championship bout, between multiple-time WKN European Champion Mickael Pignolo and double WKN Intercontinental Champion Niko Pjetri, truly honored our sport. We are proud and deeply honored to have witnessed such a high-level clash that elevated the values of our discipline.
We also extend our best wishes for a speedy recovery to Niko Pjetri, who, true to his reputation, delivered yet another courageous and remarkable performance.
Having already conquered everything along his career path, Pignolo now stands at the top of the mountain, crowned WKN World Champion.
By achieving this feat, Pignolo joins the ranks of legendary French š«š· WKN Welterweight World Champions such as Mostafa Oumrani, Olivier Cerdan, Samir Berbachi, Bruce Codron, and Steve Valente ā a prestigious lineage in one of the most iconic and demanding divisions in WKN history.
